Decorative items
These are a truly family affair, and I love the collaborative nature of each individual piece:
My Dad turns beautiful wooden bowls, vases and pots, using skills enhanced over a lifetime of creating with wood.
I paint them in a variety of styles, from colourful abstract mandala-esque designs to stylised scenes or evocative underwater seascapes.
Finally, each one is finished by my Mum with several coats of hard wearing, non-discolouring clear varnish, fine sanded in between coats for a high gloss finish.
